Our Vision

The Manor at Mill Creek is being developed by a team of real estate professionals with more than 35 years of real estate experience in subdivision zoning and development.  The Manor was envisioned as a small, exclusive community of upscale homes, all in a setting that maintains its natural beauty. That vision had its genesis in the land itself, a remarkably picturesque but environmentally sensitive 50 acres nestled at the headwaters of Mill Creek. To take advantage of the tract's scenic woodlands while minimizing the environmental impact of the project, the site was engineered using the State's low impact development standards. As a result, The Manor has only 40 homesites, and many of them seem larger then they are because they back up to over 10 acres of conservation area and open space. Thus, while each homesite in the midst of beautiful hardwood trees, is different in size, shape and topography, they all have the sense of living on a country estate.

To compliment these remarkable homesites, an architectural theme was created for all the homes built in The Manor. This theme, labeled "Coastal Country" is intended to reflect both formal Old World country architecture as well as the relaxed design elements of the southern coastal lifestyle. While a variety of home styles would fit into this broad category, the unifying elements are superior architectural detailing, the use of natural materials, and the preservation of the existing landscaping. In order to implement this design aesthetic, The Manor's Architectural Review Board has carefully crafted Design Guidelines that will assist homeowners in the building process. The Manor's Homeowners Association has also drafted Restrictive Covenants and Homeowner Association Bylaws to ensure that The Manor at Mill Creek will be developed and maintained to the highest standard.
